Raspberry Cacao Smoothie


This decadent smoothie is what dreams are made of. If you love cacao like I do you will love this one. It’s a dreamy blend of raspberries, nut butter, cacao, dates, and cinnamon. It feels like dessert but it’s packed with healthy ingredients.


While this smoothie works great with other berries I prefer raspberries because of their strong, delicious flavor.


Raspberry Cacao Smoothie

Vegan | Gluten Free | Soy Free Option


Ingredients:

1 frozen banana

1/2 cup frozen raspberries

~2 tbsp coconut kefir, or sub vegan yogurt

2 tbsp peanut or almond butter

1 heaping tbsp cacao powder

2 dates, or sub maple syrup, agave (or omit sweetener)

1/2 tsp vanilla

1/4 tsp cinnamon

3/4 cup plant milk


Instructions:

1 Place all ingredients in a blender and blend on high until smooth.

2 Taste and adjust flavor accordingly. Enjoy immediately. Can be stored in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 24 hours. Can be frozen in an airtight container for up to a week.
