Simple Tahini Dressing w/ Optional Add-In’s

A simple dressing is important to know how to make. It’s versatile. It goes great on roasted veggies, sweet potatoes, kale salads, roasted chickpeas, sandwiches, and much more.

Simple Tahini Dressing

Vegan | Gluten Free | Soy Free | Nut Free


1/2 cup tahini

1/2 garlic powder

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 cup water to thin

Optional add-ins:

Maple syrup (or agave)

Lemon juice

Black pepper

Apple cider vinegar Nutritional yeast


1. Combine all ingredients minus water to a small mixing bowl and whisk together.

2. Slowly add in hot water while whisking.

3. Taste and adjust taste to preference. I like mine a bit salty so I typically add a dash more salt.

4. Can be stored in the fridge in a covered container for about a week.


This dressing is good with *all* of the ingredients listed and it is good with the simple original ingredients listed.

Don’t be afraid to play around with flavor combinations.

You can use minced garlic instead of garlic powder.
