Vanilla Chai Protein Shake


I don’t love plain, boring protein shakes so I created this a leveled up version. It’s one of my favorite snacks and quick breakfasts. It can also easily be made into a smoothie by adding frozen banana or other frozen fruit.


Vanilla Chai Protein Shake

Vegan | Gluten Free


Ingredients:

1.5 cups plant milk of choice (I used almond)

2 scoops vanilla protein powder

2+ tbsp almond butter

Chai spices to taste:

Cinnamon, cardamom, ground ginger, clove, and black pepper

Dash of sea salt

Sweetener: dates, maple syrup, or agave (optional)


Instructions:

1. Combine all ingredients in the base of a blender and blend.

2. Taste and adjust flavor if needed (example more sweetness, cinnamon, or almond butter).

3. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately.


Notes:

You can add ice cubes for texture.

I am not sure if this can be frozen.
